In plain English
Instead of adding all your shots, each hole gives you points. A Net par is usually 2 points. Better than Net par earns more. Worse earns less.
How to win
Finish with the highest points total.
Example
Remember this
- Net par is the normal target.
- If you cannot score points on a hole, you can usually pick up.
- Bad holes hurt less than they do in strokeplay.
Things to be aware of
Point values and handicap strokes should be set by the competition rules. Individual Stableford commonly uses a 95% playing handicap allowance.
